We took a walk around Chennai’s beautiful streets and found ourselves surrounded by incredible people and even better conversations.

We saw these flower garland makers, and we watched them weave magic with their hands. As we got talking, they shared how their craft is part of life’s full circle , making flowers for both birth , celebrations and farewells of life and how flowers just intertwine itself in every moment !

 It was so beautiful that we wanted to honor them in a small way. We had few tattoos with us that we placed on them, and their smiles lit up the moment! they knew! They felt the respect and the beauty!

For that day, in that little gesture, we got to appreciate their craft and the love they put into it everyday!

As we walked a little further carrying the floral essence with us we met this coconut water seller who noticed our tattoos! we asked her if she’s ever thought about tattoos she told us she’d never had one before because of the pain. Surprise surprise! We told her about us and decided to give her a piece of the experience. She rocked that tattoo like a queen, so sassy and full of confidence - we all need that honestly!

And then, we came across this boy with the most gorgeous dusky skin. At this point we just wanted to celebrate people, the melanin, the richness of our people. 

We asked him, he Said yes!! We placed a golden snake tattoo on his neck, and the way he smiled after? Ahhh it looked so beautiful on him It was like he saw himself in a new light, feeling beautiful in his skin.

These moments !! These weren’t just about the tattoos. They were about connecting, sharing stories, and celebrating the incredible people we meet every day. And honestly? It’s always an honor to do that. Always is!To see! to love! To celebrate! To share !
